‘Bob’s Burgers’ an hysterically fun time

For 12 seasons, the animated Fox series ‘Bob’s Burgers’ has been entertaining viewers and has also garnering quite a following. All the fans have enjoyed watching the Belcher family (the lead characters of the show) and their sometimes hilarious struggle of keeping the restaurant open.

Now, it’s time to see them, along with other fan-favorite characters, jump onto the big screen in a very long-awaited film adaptation.

‘The Bob’s Burgers Movie’ is an animated, big-screen, musical comedy-mystery-adventure (yes, a little bit of everything) based on the long-running Emmy-winning series. The story begins when a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob’s Burgers, blocking the entrance indefinitely and ruining the Belchers’ plans for a successful summer.

While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family’s restaurant.

As danger mounts, these underdogs help each other find hope and fight to get back behind the counter, where they belong.

‘The Bob’s Burgers Movie’ is an extremely humorous and entertaining movie adaptation of the cult classic series. This animated movie delivers an intriguing story and you will have a great time watching it from beginning to end!

This movie features several moments that will have you laughing hysterically. The dry humor that is featured in the show is definitely present in the movie. It did seem like it is an extended episode of the series. But, the fun and silly moments still work.

The music is really good and the movie also features several characters who have appeared in the TV show. Also more than a few segments seem really heart-felt. ‘The Bob’s Burgers Movie’ is definitely a blast to see at the theater. Also, keep on the look out for some callbacks from other episodes.

Even if you aren’t a huge fan of the series or haven’t really followed the show much (like myself), you will still enjoy it. I watched a couple of episodes on Hulu just to get a feel for ‘Bob’s Burgers’ and what to expect and will definitely be checking out the remaining episodes. So, make sure to check the movie out. ‘The Bob’s Burgers Movie’ is written by Nora Smith (producer/writer of the series) and Loren Bouchard (show’s creator) and directed by Bernard Derriman (supervising director of the series).

In October 2017, 20th Century announced that a movie adaptation based on the Fox series ‘Bob’s Burgers’ was in development. Work on the movie was briefly postponed due to the Disney-Fox acquisition.

While this adaptation was being made, they also had the eleventh season of the show and the movie in production back-to-back.

‘The Bob’s Burgers Movie’ is rated PG-13 for rude/suggestive material and language and has a running time of 102 minutes.
