Plot: Morris “Mud” Himmel spends every summer at computer camp, but he hates it. Mud and his friends, unhappy about their respective camp, devise a plan to finally have a fun summer. They bribe Dennis Van Welker, an ex-teacher, to pose as a counselor for a fake camp and rent a campground where the kids can run amok. But they run into trouble when their parents ultimately want to come for a visit.

‘Camp Nowhere’ is a 1994 comedy starring Christopher Lloyd that generally gets forgotten. This hidden gem of a comedy is very fun to watch and there are quite a few humorous moments.

Christopher Lloyd is great in almost everything he does and in this movie, you can tell he had a great time making the movie. He really knocks it out of the park, especially when he poses as the “counselors”. Even though the story of ‘Camp Nowhere’ is practically unrealistic, this family movie is great family entertainment and is truly amusing.

There are quite a few “summer camp” movies out there but ‘Camp Nowhere’ definitely stands out. With a fun premise and some very funny shenanigans, you can’t go wrong with ‘Camp Nowhere.’ Even their “Parents Day” sequences are very humorous!

This hidden gem comedy can be found on the Disney Plus streaming service.
