Plot: A year after killing vengeful hit and run victim Ben Willis, who killed her friends, college student Julie James is still shaken by the experience. I Still Know What You Did Last Summer is an OK slasher flick at best. It mainly focuses on the Julie James character who is being stalked by the Fisherman again, only this time in the Bahamas. And along the way, the Fisherman collects more victims.
The 1998 sequel does have a scare or two here and there and the movie can be on the rather predictable side at times for first time viewers. There are a few moments that still hold the intensity of the 1997 slasher, but not as much. This movie is honestly a guilty pleasure - it can be dumb at times, yet it still can be on the entertaining side.
The movie's ending also felt like it lacked the mystery and intrigue and wasn't nearly as good as the 1997 ending. And, now onto the third of the series - I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer ...

Due to the negative critical reaction to the movie upon its release, Prinze Jr. admits that he has never seen the movie because of its reputation.
Scheduling conflicts with Dawson's Creek, The Faculty, Halloween H20 and gearing up to direct Teaching Mrs. Tingle prevented Kevin Williamson from writing the screenplay.
The movie made $16.5 million from 2,443 theaters during its opening weekend, finishing 2nd behind holdover The Waterboy. At the end of its 15 week run, the movie grossed $40 million domestically.
