'PAW Patrol' great animated fun for kids

‘PAW Patrol’ has been an extremely popular children’s series since it debuted on Nickelodeon on Aug. 12, 2013. Over the years, the show's production company (Spin Master) has developed the show into a media franchise, which includes games, toys and so much more.


Now, children everywhere can see their favorite crew of search and rescue dogs on the big screen in this animated adventure.


In the Paramount Pictures animated presentation of ‘PAW Patrol: The Movie,’ when their biggest rival, Humdinger, starts wreaking havoc as the mayor of Adventure City, Ryder and everyone’s favorite heroic pups kick into high gear to face the challenge.


Armed with exciting new gadgets and gear, the PAW Patrol joins forces with a savvy dachshund to save the citizens of Adventure City.


Children, mainly the younger crowd (elementary school age group), will really enjoy what the full-length animated movie has to offer. The animated kids feature delivers some nice cheery family entertainment and lots of great fun.


There are quite a few moments that the kiddos will find really hilarious and seeing their favorite rescue pups in action on the big screen will truly make their day. ‘PAW Patrol’ also delivers some action moments that will really keep the young kids entertained.

‘PAW Patrol: The Movie’ is written by Billy Frolick (Madagascar), Cal Brunker (Arctic Dogs; The Nut Jobs 2) and Bob Barlen (Arctic Dogs) and directed also by Cal Brunker (The Nut Job 2)


In November 2017, producer Ronnen Herary of Spin Master, confirmed the company is “currently considering whether to extend the PAW Patrol franchise into feature films at some point in the next 12 to 24 months.”

Development of the film was confirmed on February 11, 2020. Production was done via telecommuting during the pandemic.


‘PAW Patrol: The Movie is rated G and has a running time of 85 minutes.
