‘Plane’ an exhilarating, action-packed flight

In the white-knuckle action movie ‘Plane,’ pilot Brodie Torrance saves his passengers from a lightning strike by making a risky landing on an island. There’s only one slight problem — surviving the landing was just the beginning.

The island is a war-torn area and most of the passengers are taken hostage by dangerous rebels and the only person Torrance can count on for help is Louis Gaspare, an accused murderer who was being transported by the FBI.

In order to rescue the passengers, Torrance will need Gaspare’s help, and will learn there’s more to Gaspare than meets the eye.

‘Plane’ is a very entertaining, action-packed flick that will have your eyes glued to the screen the entire time. This adrenaline-pumping movie delivers a good amount of explosive action that will surely satisfy the action fans out there.

There are quite a few tense moments scattered throughout the movie. One of the most intense sequences is, of course, the plane going down in the beginning minutes of the movie. That entire scene is really thrilling and a little bit suspenseful.

Once the action starts back up when the rebels find the passengers, the action never stops until the final moments of the movie. ‘Plane’ also does a great job leaving you at the very edge of your seat. The last twenty or so minutes of this action flick is simply awesome and packs in a lot of action.

Overall, ‘Plane’ is a very entertaining thrill ride that is extremely fast-paced and Gerard Butler has another great action flick to add onto his never-ending string of action movies. So, make sure to not miss this exhilarating flight (had to add a plane pun) on the big screen!

‘Plane’ is written by Charles Cumming and J.P. Davis (The Contractor) and directed by Jean-Francois Richet, who directed the 2005 remake of ‘Assault on Precinct 13’ and ‘Blood Father.’

‘Plane’ is rated R for violence and language and has a running time of 107 minutes.
