Talk to Me is a small, low-budget horror movie that pretty much came out of nowhere. Once I started seeing how good the reviews were getting - which is quite rare for the horror genre - my curiosity grew more, especially after seeing the trailers. Well, I finally had the chance to check out one of the most talked-about horror movies in some time and it's one of the most original and scariest movies in some time!!
The 2023 horror flick delivers a lot of thrilling moments and scares that you really won't see coming. The opening moments alone will really get your attention and after it ends, you will really be wondering what the hell just happened.
Once you see the group of friends begin messing around with the embalmed hand, all hell pretty much breaks loose. When the spirits are conjured up, those scares can be really eerie. And when the teens are possessed for a short amount of time, those moments can also be a tad on the weird side.
Overall, Talk to Me is definitely worth checking out once it's available to rent or own on PVOD. It's showing for a couple more days at the Dietrich!! The remaining show dates and times for Talk to Me are as follows: Wed. 8/23 at 1:15 and 7:15 and Thurs 8/24 at 7:15.
