Imagine a world where everything about you is on record. A world where every trace of your existence is on the computer … A world which could easily be erased.

Plot: Computer programmer Angela Bennett starts a new freelance gig and, strangely, all her colleagues start dying. Does it have something to do with the mysterious disc she was given? Her suspicions are raised when, during a trip to Mexico, she’s seduced by a handsome stranger intent on locating the same disc. Soon Angela is tangled up in a far-reaching conspiracy that leads her to her identity being erased. Can she stop the same thing from happening to her life?

‘The Net’ is a very gripping thriller that is incredibly intriguing. Even though the premise of the movie was way ahead of its time, it can be really fun to watch.

This 1995 movie can be predictable at times. It’s actually kind of like a guilty pleasure and will keep you entertained throughout most of the movie.

The whole conspiracy angle is really exciting and some of the tense moments can really leave you on the very edge of your seat. The ending of this conspiracy-hacking movie did feel a little rushed though and definitely was a little too predictable. But, still, ‘The Net’ is really entertaining and worth a look!
