‘Together Together’ A Clever, Endearing Film

In the Bleecker Street presentation of ‘Together Together,’ a young loner becomes a surrogate mother for a single, middle-aged man who wants a child.

Their unexpected relationship soon challenges their perceptions of connection, boundaries and the particulars of love.

‘Together Together’ is an endearing little comedic drama that is a great, entertaining story. This comedy-drama delivers a lot of heart-felt, thoughtful moments and is refreshingly different.

Ed Helms and Patti Harrison work really well together and their chemistry in all of their scenes is simply astounding and incredible. They have quite a few humorous moments together and a few of those can be a little awkward. A lot of their moments on screen together can also be quirky but it’s really entertaining.

Overall, ‘Together Together’ is a sweet, little film that can be a little emotional at times. It also has quite a few warm-hearted moments and the friendship and the main characters have is simply amazing. This refreshing indie flick can be quite unpredictable and crowd-pleasing. So, during the Summer Film Festival, do make sure to give this little indie comedy-drama a look!

‘Together Together’ is executive produced, written and directed by Nikole Beckwith.

The film had its world premiere in the U.S. Dramatic Competition section of the Sundance Film Festival on January 31, 2021. Prior to its world premiere, Bleecker Street acquired the domestic distribution rights, while Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions acquired the international distribution rights.

‘Together Together’ is rated R for some sexual references and language.
